Microphones

My last article, which received great interest was the history of audio recording. I thank everyone for reading and become a great success. This article is no less important. Certainly not in the history of audio recording, without even discussing the history of the microphone. Neither can exist without the other. Together we investigate the origin and evolution of this amazing invention.

A microphone is simply said, a device that"Waves" in the air through the voice or the sound channel creates waves and converts them into electrical signals. Another way of saying that is to convert sound energy into electrical energy. After the sound waves are converted into electrical signals in order to hear back on a sound stage, has been converted back to the acoustic power through some sort of speaker. It is incredible to think with all the technological advances over the past 40 years, even using this simpleSoftware on our stereo, computer or iPod.

The relatively weak signal of a voice or instrument is created, into electrical energy, which rose by any type of microphone, amplified by a series of power amplifiers, and finally converted back to acoustic energy through the speakers. It's easy to sit, enjoy music, and be reminded by this awesome power, which in our universe, which we were created to enjoy our day grateful.

Johann Philipp Reis (1834-1874)

The German physicist, developed a "sound channels" so that workers with a metal strip on a membrane with a metal contact point, which shone a complete circuit, like the membrane vibrate. It integrates the use of loosely packed carbon granules in a closed room. The resulting sound was strong and full of distortion, but was an important step forward. Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931)

Hughes and Edison Designmade it easy to produce cheap, effective and lasting.
